Job Description

Our client, a market leader in the UK utilities sector, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Depot Clerk to join their Admin team.
Based within our clients modern and vibrant offices in Dunfermline, your duties will be to deal with internal and external customer enquiries over the phone and via written correspondence, logging calls and updating the in-house databases, setting up job cards and general administrative duties.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good level of IT skills and be good at picking up new systems, be comfortable using word, excel and databases and be able to work on their own initiative. This role will also require the candidate to be able to work well within a team as well as be bale to manage their own workload.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

- Operating office systems in order to process work, maintain accurate records and access information to support project.
- Resolve enquiries from both internal/external sources, providing written and verbal responses as necessary to ensure customer/consumer satisfaction in line with Standards of Service.
- Compile standard statistical data, using computer systems/applications as necessary, in accordance with the relevant procedures and guidelines in order to provide Management Information (MI).

We require someone with excellent attention to detail, organisation and good telephone manner.
The starting pay rate for this vacancy is 8.05 per hour and will rise to 8.62 on successful completion of your 12 week probation period.
