An amazing opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the Kitchen team as the Staff Canteen Chef. Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Staff Chef will ensure internal customers receive the highest standards of food service and co-orperation at all times.
The Staff Canteen Chef will prepare varied & nutritious meals for our staff and assist the Banqueting and Pastry teams. Also undertake a range of duties within the kitchen in accordance with the company and hotel policies, procedures and standards. It will be the duty of the Staff Canteen Chef to maintain high standards of internal customer satisfaction whilst ensuring the food cost is kept in line with approved budgets. The successful candidate will build good working relationships with other colleagues and all other departments.
Applicants should be committed to the highest standards of cuisine, presentation and food preparation.
Relevant experience gained in a similar environment is desirable.
Hours: Mainly 9.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Skills: The successful candidate will have CIEH Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering or equivalent.
