Sadie Booth, Head of Service Delivery at Pertemps Driver Training, was named as the Rising Star of the Year at the 2020 Talent in logistics Awards.
The Talent in Logistics Awards are dedicated to recognising and rewarding the people that keep the logistics sector and country, moving every day throughout the whole supply chain. The Talent in Logistics Awards include categories highlighting not only stand-out individuals but the teams and organisations that have gone above and beyond to make real difference.
The prestigious awards for recognising and rewarding talent in Logistics, took place on Thursday 1st October in a unique, online event due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sadie was nominated by her employers for the Rising Star of the Year category due to her outstanding achievements and career progression within Pertemps.
Speaking after the event, Sadie said, “I’m extremely honoured and over the moon to have won, there were so many great people receiving recognition for their work in the industry and being involved in this year’s awards following the challenges our sector faced was fantastic.
“I am lucky to always be fully supported by my manager and be given the tools to be able to progress and innovate with my team. Without her backing we would not be able to achieve our goals and continue to provide our clients with the best possible service.”
Samantha Leleu, the Pertemps Driver Training General Manager said, “I am super proud of Sadie for picking up this recognition. After starting her career with me in Pertemps Driver Training aged just 19, she has worked her way through to her current role of Head of service and delivery. Sadie is ambitious, hardworking and dedicated, which is why it came as no shock that she was picked by the judges for this award! I am so pleased that she has been recognised for her outstanding efforts within the Logistics and Training sector.”
