Birmingham Industrial staff dressed up for their 'Mad Friday' fundraising event

Staff at Pertemps Industrial Birmingham raised a whopping £2112.77 for the Teenage Cancer Trust in December with their annual ‘Mad Friday’ event.

The team dressed up in fancy dress and held fun activities throughout the day including a raffle with some top prizes up for grabs. These included the chance to win corporate rugby tickets, a meal at Marco Pierre White Birmingham, an overnight hotel stay, corporate Birmingham City FC tickets and lots more.

Branch Manager Tim Hibbert said, “Mad Friday has turned into a tradition here and gives us the chance to help a charity close to our hearts while having fun in the process. We pick a Friday at the end of the year and spend months beforehand working toward raising as much money as possible for the chosen charity.

“By selling raffle tickets to family and friends as well as receiving generous donations from clients, we’ve raised a brilliant amount for Teenage Cancer Trust and I couldn’t be prouder of my team and all their hard work. Here’s to the next Mad Friday and raising even more – I’ve already got my next fancy dress idea ready too!”

Teenage Cancer Trust representative, Emily Henderson, visited the branch to present Regional Manager Anna McGinty and Tim Hibbert with a cheque.

Birmingham Industrial would like to say a big thank you to clients Grupo Antolin, Cadbury’s, Technispray, Kuehne and Nagel, Pertemps Redditch and the Corporate team for their donations.

Well done to all staff at Birmingham Industrial and good luck with the next Mad Friday!
