Pertemps Network Group has recently donated £5000 towards the Warwickshire Fusiliers museum relocation project.

The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum in St John’s House has recently been awarded a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of nearly £28,000, to help secure its relocation to Pageant House in Jury Street. The museum was until 2017 sponsored by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) after cutbacks and now relies on funding from the district council, trustees and from museum reserves.

The Fusiliers Museum Warwick contains a collection of artifacts representing a 300-year history of the County Regiment, from its raising in 1674 to the Fusiliers of today. Without support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and contributors such as Pertemps, the museum would close.

Tim Watts Lifetime President and Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands Lieutenancy said “Recognised as a business for our Gold Award status by the Armed Forces Covenant, it’s of comfort to know we can support the country’s story being told, providing the bigger picture of those who died in service, through the relocation and long term future of the military museum.”

Contributions such as these can maintain and support the long-term sustainability of the museum.
