Pertemps Scotland are standing together united on World AIDS Day with Waverley Care, in the fight against HIV.
World AIDS Day, has been designated on the 1st December every year since 1988. Globally, there are an estimated 36.7 million people living with HIV. Many people still don’t know the facts about how to protect themselves and others, and stigma and discrimination remain a reality for people living with the condition.
Waverley Care is Scotland’s HIV and Hepatitis C charity, working to make a positive difference in the lives of people affected by HIV or Hepatitis C in Scotland.
Across Scotland, our branches have World AIDS Day Champions who are on a mission to fundraise as much as they can this November to show support for people living with HIV, to commemorate those who have died from AIDS-related illness, and to help #smashstigma.
If you can help, go to www.waverleycare.org/worldaidsday.
With your support, together we can make sure every person living with or affected by HIV gets the care and compassion they deserve.
