The winner of our huge nationwide competition to win a trip of a lifetime to Lapland has been announced.
Christmas will be even more magical for Robert Griffiths and his family this year as they jet off to see Santa courtesy of Pertemps. After seeing the survey link on LinkedIn in October, Robert took the plunge and entered – he never expected to win.
He said, “I didn’t think I would win at all. My daughter is bouncing off the walls. We would never have afforded this trip ourselves so we’re really excited and can’t thank Pertemps enough!”
The competition was inspired by The Big Hoot, Birmingham’s largest ever public art exhibition. Pertemps had their own owl, Percy the Pertemps owl, who after the event was purchased by the business at a charity auction with proceeds going to a local children’s hospital. Percy then went on a 12-month adventure to 12 branches around the country where staff were encouraged to help raise money for their local children’s hospital. The competition was launched to get the public involved and aware of our charity work.
Plymouth resident Robert, who is a Retail Operations Manager at St Luke’s Hospice, along with his partner Lynsey and daughter Emelia will jet off to Finland’s northernmost region for some festive fun this weekend.
We were inundated with entries throughout the 12- month period and want to thank everyone who took part. We hope Robert and family enjoy their snowy escapade to Lapland this Christmas – send Mr and Mrs Claus our best wishes from Pertemps!
