ESOS Support Desk has been named runner-up in the annual IT Service Week, held by the Service Desk Institute.
ESOS offer IT support to the entire Pertemps Network Group. If anyone has an IT issue, they are on-hand to help.
The Support Desk came in second place for Best Service Desk, while Support Desk Analyst Sam Thornett came in second place for Best Analyst.
The weeklong event, held from 1st to 5th October, was created by the SDI to help IT professionals, service desks and IT organisations shout about how brilliant they are.
Service Desk Manager Gavin Dyer said: “This year we took part in IT Service Week, which I am pretty sure anyone with LinkedIn would have seen. This is the first time we have taken part, so we really wanted to make an impression. We’re over the moon to be recognised as runners up in two categories – a fantastic achievement by the team. Thank you to everyone who voted for us.”
Each year, IT Service Week has a different theme. This year, the theme was ‘magic.’ The team in Support decorated their office with all things spooky and dressed as wizards, witches and gremlins; giving the rest of Meriden Hall a fright! For their brilliant efforts, the team won the Best Decorated Office Award.
Well done to everyone in ESOS Support for their hard work and congratulations for their fantastic achievements. Also, special congratulations to Sam Thornett for being voted as Best Analyst. Bring on next year!
