The Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) has unveiled its ‘Staffing 100 Europe’ List, which includes Pertemps’ Chairperson, Carmen Watson, as an influential leader.
The SIA is the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions and compiles the list based on the impact and influence individuals have had on the workforce solutions ecosystem. This could be through growth, vision, innovation or legislation.
The list, now in its sixth year, recognises Carmen as a trailblazer in diversity and inclusion policy. She was recently named by the IoD as Director of the Year in the West Midlands, namely for her commitment and hard work in championing equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She also sits on the Board for RfO and is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment & Employment Confederation.
Carmen said: “I’m honoured to be included in this year’s list, side-by-side with so many inspirational industry leaders. Being named as an innovator in my field makes the hard work worthwhile, particularly for championing equality and diversity in the workplace.
“In changing times, where skills shortages and a digital evolution are at the forefront of the industry, it’s great to see so many leaders taking the bull by the horns and turning this into an opportunity for us to grow stronger and to tackle industry problems.”
Instead of being placed in ranking order, the list is more of a shout-out to those whose unique vision and contributions take the industry forward.
This year’s honourees hail from across European staffing markets, with representation from 17 countries. Twenty women were named to the 2018 list, up from 15 last year, as female leaders continue to gain deserved recognition from the industry and in the marketplace.
Those named to the list are being honoured during SIA’s Executive Forum Europe: Future Forward, taking place 27-28 November in London.
