Welcoming Pertemps Hull | Pertemps

After four months of Pertemps’ new offices in Hull, branch manager Stefan Wolkowski and his team have been reaping the rewards of their presence in the vibrant northern city.

In April, Pertemps opened its first ever office in Hull; an exciting venture for the business to expand its brand presence and reputation in the area. The modern office space is called ‘The Bloc’ and is situated just outside the city centre in a town called Anlaby. Pertemps is located in the new, redeveloped space, which staff describe as, ‘a pleasure to work in every day.’

And who better to open the new office than branch manager Stefan Wolkowski, who built his recruitment team from scratch.

He said: “The first major hurdle when opening the office was to recruit a team I could trust, develop and most of all, work with day in day out in an environment we all enjoy working in.
“Annie and Georgia joined and we have built a solid relationship from day one. Their work ethic is phenomenal and we gel really well as a team. We are very fortunate to have this unique opportunity to open a new branch and we are striving daily to reward the people who have put trust in us to develop one of the newest offices for Pertemps.”

The team in Hull focus on recruiting in a range of different sectors on a temporary and permanent basis across Hull and East Riding. With over 55 years’ experience, the Hull office is adding to Pertemps’ nationwide footprint and will help job seekers and businesses in the area with consultants’ expert knowledge.

Trainee permanent consultant, Georgia Adamson, said: “I joined Pertemps at the end of May this year, originally as the administrator, however, I am slowly transitioning into the consultant role dealing with a range of commercial based companies.
“The support I have received since starting has been next to none. My manager Stefan and regional manager Ken have both expressed such faith and trust in me, particularly with the permanent consultant role as it’s something I have never done before.”
Recruitment consultant Annie Wyatt said: “The support I have received from my manager and regional manager since I started has been fantastic. They motivate me, challenge me but most importantly, trust me to do my job, and do it well. Myself and colleague Georgia work closely with each other, supporting and pushing each other every single day.”

As well as being busy signing up new candidates and attracting clients, the Hull branch has agreed a sponsorship deal with Hull Pirates, the region’s ice hockey team.

Stefan said: “We’re delighted to link up with Hull Pirates this season; it’s clear that there are exciting times ahead for the club and it’s going to be great to be a part of that this season. To be connected to another organisation like the Hull Pirates is a great honour and a brilliant chance for us to heighten the Pertemps name in the area.

“We can’t wait for the first game and to see our sponsored player Lee Bonner working his magic inside the rink.”
