Job Role :- National Account/Business Development Manager
Contract :- Permanent
Location :- Runcorn, Cheshire (WA7 3AL)
Pay Rate :- £35K - £45K Basic (depending upon experience) + company car + bonus
Hrs :- Monday - Friday 08:30hrs-17:00hrs (15:30hrs on Fri's)

Our client has dedicated customers from numerous industries including office suppliers, education and medical and manufacturing sectors.

Due to the nature of the role, national & international travel will be required on occasions which would be paid for, therefore applicants would need a full UK driving licence and a valid passport.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the day to day contact for existing customers Nationwide.
  • Source new sales opportunities through various channels.
  • Implement marketing/social media activities to generate further business.
  • Oversee a full portfolio of high profile blue chip clients.
  • Responsible for the P&L and forecasting data.
  • Provide data/reports as required.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, admin and warehouse staff.

Experience & Skills
  • Must have previous experience and proven track records of sales success, preferably within the stationery sector.
  • Ability to understand the economics of Marketing and Social Media to develop business.
  • Must have strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confident but professional approach to liaising with customers at all levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
