As a Sales Manager reporting into the Sales Director of the business you will be responsible for joining the OEM business and developing their account. This role will enable you to use your strong entrepreneurial approach in successfully obtaining new business and expanding their division. You pro-actively manage customer relations; account management, directing and managing all aspects of the Division's New Business activities, including Customer Service, Quoting, and negotiations with Key Account Automotive OEM Customers.

o Actively manages commercial relationship with key automotive OEMs.
o Develop key automotive OEM account to ensure the account is being maximised
o Responsible for project commercial activities and issue resolution
o Manage overall revenue and commercial margins, optimise commercial margin through pricing leverage and contract execution
o Responsible for setting up quotations and order negotiations, working with Engineering, Costing, Purchasing and Operations.
o Collect customer data/ information regarding customer satisfaction and follow up measures
o Preparing presentations/ Salesforce CRM
o Support customer priorities and support alignment of strategy to achieve objectives
Qualifications and Aptitudes:
To be successful in this role you will already have several years experience working in as a Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager and will see this a tremendous opportunity to establish and influence the sales and commercial direction within a successful automotive manufacturing facility.
Further more your experience will encompass some of the following key metrics;
o Senior management experience working within the automotive tier 1 supply chain with proven relationships with automotive OEMs (JLR, Aston Martin, Honda, Nissan, Toyota)
o Experience of complex and high value product costing and commercial negotiations
o Ability to proactively interpret emerging customer needs and communicate competitive positioning and products gaps to the organisation
o Degree level or equivalent in Manufacturing / Engineering/ Business related subject or equivalent
