A successful and growing international manufacturer of complex automotive components and assemblies is seeking a Supply Chain Manager. The organisation is experiencing a rapid period of growth and investment and is capitalizing on the current expansion of global automotive sales.

Position: Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Shropshire
Salary: up to £55000 per annum DOE + Benefits

About the role

Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will:

 Have overall accountability across Planning, Stock Control, Materials availability and Warehousing.
 Be responsible for supplier management/improvement and maintaining customer delivery performance.
 Manage and develop the team across all areas of the supply chain, driving performance against set KPIs.
 Plan efficiently in regards to resources, capacity, inventory and NPI projects as well as maximising   Warehouse availability.

About the Person

The ideal Supply Chain Manager will have proven experience from a busy fast paced manufacturing environment as well as the following:

 Experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment is highly desirable
 Be commercially aware and target driven
 Be of degree calibre or equivalent in a related discipline
 Have a strong IT competency including MRP systems.
