Fixed Term Contract - 3 months with potential to turn permanent!
As an OEM Account Manager reporting into the Sales Director of the business you will be responsible for joining the business and developing their existing client base. This role will enable you to use your strong entrepreneurial approach in successfully obtaining new business via the client base that is already there and managing their client accounts. You pro-actively will use your commercial acumen to ensure that all sales, orders and quotes are completed on time.

£40,000 Pro Rata - Basic - Competitive package - Very competitive salary, pension, bonus scheme
o Manage key automotive OEM accounts to ensure the accounts are being maximised
o Responsible for creating quotes and RFQ's
o Responsible for all commercial activities for a specific client
o You will be responsible for promoting the use of their product and organisation through the various Automotive channels
o Collect customer data/ information regarding customer satisfaction and follow up measures
o Develop and maintain a business plan, identifying market opportunities, technical trends and competitor activity
o Be commercially savvy and aware of what the competition is doing
Qualifications and Aptitudes:
To be successful in this role you will already have several years experience working in as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager and will see this a tremendous opportunity to establish and influence the sales and commercial direction within a successful manufacturing facility within the Automotive Industry.
Further more your experience will encompass some of the following key metrics;
o Senior management experience working within the automotive tier 1 supply chain with proven relationships with automotive OEMs (JLR, BMW group, Volkswagen Group, Honda, Nissan, Toyota)
o Experience of having a structured approach based on researching, developing and implementing a new market plan and strong entrepreneurial skills
o Ability to proactively interpret emerging customer trends and act upon this, turning them into commercial opportunities for the organisation
o Proven Key Account Management Skills within the Automotive OEM Industry
o Strong Engineering Component background
