Electrical Maintenance Engineer
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a long established Brownhills based Castings Company with over 100 years trading experience.
Working as part of the established maintenance team your main duties will be to maintain and repair gear motors, reduction gearboxes, conveyor systems, overhead cranes and furnaces.
The successful candidate must have a 17th Edition qualification and will ideally have passed an Engineering apprenticeship and have previous experience of working in a foundry/forge environment. Applicants with a City & Guilds (to Level 3 standard) and or ONC/HNC will also be considered.
Previous experience of working on conventional machinery such as millers, lathes and grinders is desirable but not essential.
The shift pattern for this role is based on a continental shift pattern working days and nights (4 on, 4 off).
An excellent remuneration package is offered to include a starting salary of c£32k with other additional benefits. This is a genuine permanent position with good career prospects.
