Are you an experienced Finance Co-ordinator looking for a rewarding and challenging career? Are you meticulous in your approach and have an eye for detail and numbers? If so this is exciting opportunity you have been looking for! The successful Finance Coordinator will be working for a Tier 1 Automotive organisation who is a leader in their field. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be working in friendly and fast paced finance team. The Finance Coordinator will be rewarded an attractive salary of up to £33,800 with additional benefits and flexi time.
Your duties will include:

" Input of Customer invoices in SAP and match against deliveries.
" Allocate all revenue to correct accounts, cost centres and project costs, ensuring customer payments are within agreed terms.
" Liaise with Commercial on any discrepancies between Customer & GA relating to /orders/pricing/deliveries etc.
" Liaise with plant Logistics for any discrepancies between deliveries/invoices.
" Raise Customer rejection charges, and agree with respective Plant responsible.
" Allocate payments, reconcile customer and bank accounts.
" Prepare and support month end closing.

" Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure that funding requirements are met for all currency bank accounts and adequate cash usage is optimised.
" Prepare mid and month end supplier payments.
" Prepare monthly cash flow requirements.
" To understand the procedures and processes both internal and external to the department to correctly account for all transactions to comply with audit requirements.
" Prepare and submit Intrastat returns on a timely basis.
" Filing and general office administration.
" Represent the department with internal and external customers.
" Establish and maintain effective communication systems with internal and external customers.
" Work on own initiative by planning and organising workload in order to meet monthly timetable deadlines.
" Conduct supplementary projects/tasks as directed.
" Stand in for other members of the department as directed.
" Remain flexible and reactive to changing operational requirements.

The Candidate

" AAT qualified or equivalent and studying towards a professional qualification
" Computer literate on Microsoft Office
" Must have relevant experience in a finance environment
" Experience in SAP Finance modules

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP or a similar CRM system and will be passionate about working in a fast paced finance environment. The role is working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week with flexi time available.
