A leading manufacturer is increasing their production team and there is now a need for a permanent production planner to join the business. Reporting to the Programme Manager your duties will include but not limited to :-

" Support Production Planning functions to ensure that accurate visibility is given regarding customer delivery expectations.
" Ensure that a professional, efficient, prioritised and effective response service is provided with due consideration to other departments, customer needs, and the financial requirements of the business.
" Liaise with Account Principals to ensure that accounts within your area of responsibility are receiving the support required.
" Work closely with all supporting disciplines behind all accounts to develop a seamless process to support delivery.
" Maintaining Programme updates in a timely manner to give accurate visibility of customer demand.
" Maintaining Customer Trackers to give visibility concerning adherence to schedule.
" Develop quotations to customer enquires in a timely manner.
" Taking ownership and liaising with relevant departments concerning -EPDM, NPI, DRR, CAR's & NCR's.
" Raise contracts in line business lead times.
" Monitor and ensure that all additional costs are captured and charged to the customer where applicable.
" Maintain relevant Impromptu reports where necessary.
" Monitor and flag price discrepancies against PO value.
" Manage spares demand for allocated customers.

With an attractive salary on offer of £23,000 - £25,000 and hours of work will be Monday to Friday.

The Production Planner will ensure duties are carried out in accordance with defined Company and regulatory quality standards and ensure the continual development and implementation of Company policies.
