Assistant Planner / Buyer

Our 3PL client is looking for an Assistant Planner / Buyer to ensure smooth operation of their site. The role will involve working alongside buyers within the business to predict demand and purchase materials and consumables for the site.
This job will offer a great opportunity to work both from Home and in warehouse. A large amount of the work can be done remotely and there is flexibility on how the hours can be worked. There is great opportunity for growth within a business which has an excellent history of internal promotion.
A strong eye for details and numbers will be necessary to look over the data to allow for accurate forecasting, purchasing and management of BOM's.
An ability to communicate and work effectively within a team will also be necessary, as co-ordinating with buyers and customers to work to meet forecasts and prepare for projects that will require increased materials.
The right candidate will have good experience in a similar role, raising PO's, monitoring materials and working with Systems. It will be desirable to have experience using SAP and BOM's.The Assistant Planner / Buyer will be:

- Have experience working within a Materials planning role or similar
- Able to read and input data
- Accurate with forecasting and lead times
- Able to work within a team and communicate effectively
- Experienced with SAP and/or BOM's (Desirable)
- £30,000 per year (experience depending)
- 22 days Holiday plus bank Holidays
