A fantastic opportunity is available for a HR Adviser (Generalist) to join a global Manufacturing business in Birmingham on a 6 month FTC with the potential to go permanent
The role and responsibilities
-Responsible for providing a proactive HR Generalist service at the site on HR/L&D related matters
-Recruitment, Selection and Assessment
-Employee relations and communications
-Disciplinary and Grievance (up to and including dismissal stage)
-Attendance and Absence Management.
-Performance Management and Development
-Human Capital Planning
To be considered for this role you must have HR Generalist experience
-Ideally graduate calibre or CIPD qualified or prepared to study to gain CIPD qualification/membership status.
-Previous experience in a HR role, ideally in a fast paced, results driven, manufacturing environment.
-Strong practical working knowledge of employment law
-PC literate in particular Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS (ideally SAP)
-Take ownership of tasks/jobs
-Excellent interpersonal skills. A strong communicator, friendly and amiable in approach
-Well organised and systematic
-Accurate and efficient
-Can work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
The company offer a salary between £30,000-£35,000 along with excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, dental cover, health care, quarterly bonus based on Company performance.
