HR Advisor
Central Bristol - Fantastic offices
Competitive salary circa £35,000 per annum
Fulltime hours Monday - Friday 35 hours per week

This is an excellent, exciting opportunity, where you working as part of a small HR team, supporting the overall day to day running of the HR function, supporting to implement HR strategies that drive and support overall business objectives.

The role will also be the Employee Relations lead within the HR team.
Main duties will include:
- Relationship Management/Client Relationships - providing guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures that comply with best practice, current local legislation and company policies
- Recruitment and resourcing - supporting with all recruitment activities. Being responsible for headcount management for dedicated business area
- Projects - Supporting the business areas in annual/cyclical activities including compensation review, talent management, succession planning, appraisals etc
- Policies, procedures, process and regulatory activities support
- Assist with all relevant regulatory activities
- Assist with producing and maintaining HR policies and procedures or tailoring when required
- Compensation/Reward/Payroll/Finance - liaise with and support compensation managers relating to annual salary reviews and bonus allocations/salary surveys
- Advice/strategy - deliver an effective human resource advisory function across the business area, ensuring the business is appropriately supported by an effective and efficient HR advisory service. Develop, communicate and implement HR policies
- Corporate Responsibility - formalise Corporate Social Responsibility within the company
- Supporting with Management, development and leadership
- Risk - Escalate issues/concerns relevant to the role

In order to be successful, you will need:

- Solid HR experience at the same level, including advisory level
- CIPD or equivalent to at least level 5
- Up to date and broad understanding of employment legislation
- Strong operational generalist HR experience
- Extensive, diverse and strong employee relations experience
- Extensive recruitment experience, and an enthusiasm for this HR specialism an advantage
- Experience of working in a large corporate as well as a smaller business environment is preferable
- Experience working in a technology company and or professional services environment is preferable although not essential
- Understanding of working in within a regulated environment is essential
- Ability to establish and maintain over time - appropriate knowledge on the financial services & digital marketplace together with a commitment to maintaining HR knowledge appropriate to the role
- Ability to carry out work at all levels
