Office and Accounts Manager - Central Bristol area
Our well-established client has an opportunity for an Office and Accounts Manager to join their small and very friendly team.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 09.00 - 5.30pm, but there is some flexibility on the hours e.g. you could work 09.30 - 6.00pm etc.
Office and Accounts Manager
Reception duties, including answering and redirecting incoming calls, scanning, mailing, filing correspondence and updating professional guidance documents.
Managing incoming purchase invoices, reconcile and remit payments, retaining receipts of transactions for supply to company accountants
Maintain and manage the financial database including client POs and sales receipts database, production of company sales invoices to clients and received remittances for supply to company accountants
Maintain and reconcile petty cash, transactions and correct any discrepancies
Organise and audits the company's systems, databases, and procedures. Highlighting issues and recommendation for directors to implement
Interacts with clients, visitors, and suppliers
Manage general correspondence by answering general email correspondence with enquirers, customers and suppliers
Filing and archiving accurate records
Manage office suppliers and resources. Maintain stock of supplies by anticipating work requirements and ordering supplies
Develop relationships, negotiate service and payment terms with suppliers
Maintain accurate records for employee holiday requests, sets up personnel holiday files
Manages outgoing post and record data on special deliveries
Provides administrative support for the directors as needed and general support to other office workers
