We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well established Kingswinford based business who are an independent provider of office technology and supplies. Offering a modern working environment, 9am - 5pm working hours Monday - Friday, £18-22k dependent on experience plus 5% on GP

You will be joining a new business team and the purpose of the role is to generate profitable income for the company by profiling and generating business introductions/leads through to qualified appointments through inbound and outbound telecommunications. Communicating with existing and potential customers to drive and support the continual growth of the sales function.

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Develop a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and data cleansing, utilising our CRM system.
- Generating opportunities based around our three core areas Managed Print/IT Services and Telecommunications
- Promote and market company products, services and solutions to senior management and board level
- Working to, achieving and exceeding set targets and KPI's, securing appointments with key decision makers
- Secure qualified appointments with decision makers
- Record and manage all customer prospects/sales leads and activity updates on the internal CRM system
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers
- Profile and generate business introductions, prospects and sales leads
- Provide regular reports to management, demonstrating daily, weekly and monthly progress of sales leads and forecasted GP
- Respond to and resolve customer queries or refer to appropriate departments
- You will be familiar with and adhere to the below company policies and procedures
- To support in any ad hoc project as requested and deemed necessary to support the business

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:-

- Proficient with Microsoft Word/Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Databases
- Passion for sales and work on own initiative
- Experience of outward bound calling within a B2B environment
- Experience of writing communications
- Proficient using social media especially LinkedIn

WORKING HOURS & SALARY:-

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- £18-22k dependent on experience
- Plus 5% on GP

To be successful in your application you must have a minimum of 12 months sales experience and you will have held one of the following positions:- Business Development Manager, Telesales Executive, Account Manager, Sales Advisor, Sales Executive, Tele-Sales Lead Generator and/or sales consultant
