An exciting opportunity has arisen working for a Supply chain company based in the Quinton area, this will be working within the Accounts department. We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant with great organisation skills, to assist in all aspects of accounts and purchase ledger.
The responsibilities for this role are;
" To input, pay and receipt supplier invoices
" Arrears chasing
" Assist the accounts team with any other accounts or admin duties
" Production of full accounts including balance sheet, cash flow and separate profit and loss reports
" Experience in making electronic payments desirable but not essential
" Assisting with posting letters and demands
" Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets would be highly advantageous
" Review purchase ledger payments for authorisation and cash-flow
" Ensure daily bank reconciliations are completed and same day payments are checked daily
" solve account queries and issues relating to credit control and debt collection
" Reviewing delinquent accounts and contacting customers
Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
" Good communication and interpersonal skills
" Attention to detail
" AAT Qualification would be an advantage but not essential
The successful Accounts / purchase ledger will ideally have solid experience in a similar role.
This is a temporary position with the view to become permanent for the right candidate.
Salary: £9.00 per hour.
Hours of work: 25 hours a week with hours and days to suit.
You ideally would have worked within one of the following roles: Accounting, Finance Accountant, Purchase Ledger Clerk
