Mortgage Team Supervisor
This newly created role is central to supporting the core of this business - Lending.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to supervise the Mortgage Servicing Team which undertakes activity and supports members through the mortgage lifecycle, from completion through to redemption. Mortgage knowledge and a CeMap qualification is ideal however previous experience in leading a team is essential as well as a commitment to undertake and pass CeMAP within 12 months would be required.
The role is extremely fast paced and will include;
Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our borrowers
Servicing our customer needs and requirements including retention, collections and recoveries
Managing the Society's back book cases including identifying potential risks arising
Back book underwriting including assessing permission to let and second charge requests
Full accountability for the day to day operation of the Mortgage Service Team in achieving the Society's objectives
Ensure the team meets all legislative, code of practice, security and internal control requirements
Managing functional based projects to required timescales
To support the Mortgage Servicing Manager by planning, developing, reviewing and coaching the performance of staff throughout the year in respect of their objectives, accountabilities and competencies
Facilitate and co-ordinate training across the function
Consistently look for ways for the team to increasingly add value through process enhancements
