Due to a bulging order book and continued expansion there is now an opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler to join their team.
Main duties will be :
*Schedule work Orders
*Procure goods from Bill of Materials for manufacturing JIT (Just In Time)
*Maintain required level of raw materials and Finished Goods
* Prioritise and revise schedules as required.
* Create production paperwork for key departments
* Utilise data management tools eg. KPI's to improve production efficiency
* Take a proactive role in updating and introducing a MRP system
The successful Production Coordinator will already understand the processes from order to delivery, how production is planned and customer orders met. You must have experience of manufacturing preferably in metal work or engineering environment, have Excel skills and to able to work with MRP. Other duties needed are:
*Experience in a similar role
*Good communication skills
*Must be a team player with a 'Can Do' attitude
*Should have an analytical approach to problem resolution
*Good Excel skills
