We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger, to join a successful and well-established business based in Bromsgrove. The position is to join an busy Accounts Team. This a Full Time, Permanent opportunity with a salary from £21,000 - £24,000 depending on experience.
Duties will include:
• Processing invoices reconciling invoices received against purchase orders placed
• Ensuring all invoices are authorised
• Posting overhead invoices on Sage50
• Resolving supplier queries and disputes
• Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Monthly reconciliation of purchase ledger
• Processing staff expense claims
• Raising supplier BACS payments
• Receiving telephone calls
Skills and Experience needed:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Credit Control experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Excellent Organisational and Time Management Skills
• Ability to use own Initiative
• Can work to deadlines and handle pressure
• Self-motivated and an enthusiastic character
