£23,000 plus commission- £35,000 OTE
We are recruiting for a new role for a company who are looking to grow their business through upselling to their existing customers as well as opening new doors through cold calling. They are looking for a sales focused individual who can help them increase their customer sales and achieve their ambitious growth plans.
Our client is made up from 2 sister companies and they are on a mission to double the joint turnover within the next 3 years and is looking for a telesales professional to help them achieve these aggressive but realistic targets. In return you can expect to receive a competitive basic salary and an OTE on offer of £35,000.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm
Telesales key duties include:-
Making high volume outbound B2B calls to prospective customers to secure the opportunity to quote for new sales – This will involve dealing with objections and difficult gatekeepers
Follow up calls with written quotations
Help create email campaigns to generate leads
Keep the company CRM program up to date and record opportunities, detailed notes, and reports
Make appointments for our external business development managers and engineers to follow up on opportunities when required
Consistently hit and exceed targets
The successful candidate will need to have an extensive proven track record in proactive Telesales. The client will be looking for someone who is used to overachieving targets and has experience cold calling and creating new business opportunities. Must be motivated, energetic and target driven with a tenacious nature
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
A confident communicator able to speak to people from all walks of life
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections
Strong IT skills is essential including Word, Excel and Outlook.
