Quality Inspector
Temporary to permanent role
Based in Aldridge
£11.00 - £15.00 per hour
Day shift

My client is looking for a Quality Inspector (preferable with Dye Penetrant experience) to work in the quality department performing the final component checks and goods inwards inspection.
The role of a quality inspector includes:

· Perform DPI Checks.
· Performing Visual, Dimensional, Hardness and PMI checks.
· Completing inspections and processing records.
· Creating inspection Reports.
· Goods Inwards inspection.
· Record Management.
· Use of Rules, Tapes, Vernier's and Micrometres.
· Raising non-conformance reports for products.
· Conducting final product inspection.
· Liaising with shopfloor and external clients

A Quality Inspector must have:

· PCN Level II Certificate (DPI).
· Valid Forklift licence.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Be proactive with a can-do attitude.
· Have previous Quality experience in the manufacturing industry.
· High levels of attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a high pressure and high-volume environment.
· Good organisation skills.
· Sound Understanding of inspection techniques.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
· Basic Knowledge of ISO9001 and H&S practices.
· Highly organised and able to manage a full workload.
