We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Learner Engagement Officer to join a reputable Training Provider.

Based in York , you will be responsible for interviewing and shortlisting applicants to Traineeship and Apprenticeship Programmes.

The role of Learner Engagement Officer will also entail advertising Traineeship and Apprenticeship vacancies.
The role will entail working very closely with Job Centre Plus, Schools Colleges and third party referral agents.
This role is targeted and your performance will be measured against secured interviews and generating sufficient learners onto a variety of Traineeship and Apprenticeship Programmes.

The role is focused around successful recruitment, advertising and managing vacancy outcomes.
In return you can expect a basic salary of between £17800- £19500 per annum. You will also receive a bonus, 23 days+ bank holidays, pension scheme and additional benefits.

Skills and Experience required for the Recruiter/Recruitment Consultant
" Previous experience within a related role- Learner Engagement, Employee Engagement or Recruitment
" Experience of working to Targets
" Experience of working with Young People and providing Information, Advice and Guidance to learners who are Not in Education, Training or Employment(NEET), School and College Leavers.
" Networking, Lead Generation and building relationships with referral Agents.
" Excellent organisational skills and time management.
" Good all round Administration Skills
" Own Transport is desirable

The position of the Learner Engagement Officer will involve working very closely with Job Centre+ and building relationships. This is an autonomous role that allows the successful to candidate to be creative and forge relationships with particular Target Groups in order to generate interest for Traineeship Programmes. You will be involved in the end to end process, including interviewing and managing vacancies.
Successful candidates have come from Recruitment and Work Based Learning backgrounds, who have experience of working with Young People and completing the sign up process, however we will consider anybody with related experience working within a Targeted Face to Face environment
