Salary: £26,785
Temporary for 6 months

Our client based in Shiremoor, North Tyneside, is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to workingin their Project Controls Department. Here you will be responsible for the production of all financial controls in respect to the project accounting module, this will include production of PIAs and management information. In addition, you will process journals, reconcile control accounts and support the Team Leader to achieve objectives set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production and analysis of post investment appraisals, in line with agreed standards.
  • Production and analysis of Financial Control Information, including chasing individuals to try and manage financial controls within the target, in line with agreed standards.
  • Log IADs and check inputs, in line with agreed standards.
  • Assist the other finance teams in respect to queries raised by the business.
  • Participating in taking customer power cut call overflow calls as required, in line with agreed standards.
  • Maintaining and reconciling control accounts
  • Resolving outstanding control accounts queries within set deadlines
  • Posting journal
Skills:
  • An undergraduate honours degree or are working towards an accountancy qualification.
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project and Power Point).
  • Excellent planning, organisation prioritisation and attention to detail skills.
  • Time management and delivery of tasks to deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to cross collaborate working with senior managers.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Working towards an accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
Essential Experience:
  •  Excellent planning, organisation prioritisation and attention to detail skills.
  • Time management and delivery of tasks to deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to cross collaborate working with senior managers.
Desirable Qualifications:
