We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Grade 2 College who have an immediate position for a Trainer/Assessor in Electrical Power Engineering.

This course covers a wide range of units up to level 3 in:
" Substation plant, Underground Cables, Overhead lines, Metering, Wind Turbine, Powerplant
Summary of duties and responsibilities for the Trainer/Assessor in Electrical Power Engineering
" Train, deliver and coach learners in Electrical Power Engineering up to level 3
" To develop and deliver best practise in learning, teaching and assessment
" To assess students work in accordance with Quality standards and awarding body requirements
" To provide feedback on student progress and outcomes
" To complete documentation in line with college requirements
" To act as Personal Tutor and contribute to Open Evenings and school liaison activities
" To undergo continuous professional development
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for the Trainer/Assessor in Electrical Power Engineering
" Hold a recognised Assessor Qualification or prepared to work towards
" Teaching Qualification is highly desirable include PTTLS, Award in Education, PGCE
" Vocational experience working within Electrical Power Engineering
" Experience of supporting, coaching within Electrical Power Qualifications
" Own transport and Full UK Driving license
