Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Salary: c£21,500 plus commission OTE Yr 1 c£30,000
An opportunity has arisen to join this successful business. You will be office based, and will be responsible for prospecting customers, both lapsed and new, via the telephone. You will strive to hit revenue and profit targets by effectively identifying and following up on new business leads, whilst also developing existing customer accounts across the entire product and service portfolio.
- To gain new business and contracts within the UK
- To identify and follow up on clear sales opportunities
- To work closely with the Business Development Managers, and customer service team to ensure that leads are effectively progressed through to order completion
- To show awareness of the need for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, customer care and a knowledge or awareness of the market place in which the company operates
- To achieve positive sales and profit growth year on year
- Tender for high value purchases and servicing products, including the sale of spare parts
- Manage the full sales cycle.
- Build on a network of customers UK wide
- Meet company KPIs and individual sales targets
You will be a knowledgeable, skilled, enthusiastic and highly motivated Business Development Executive to work as part of the Business Development team.
- The ability to be results orientated and individually driven
- A proven track record of converting cold call leads into orders
- Have the passion for generation of new business, and growing the customer base
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales over the phone
- Able to overcome objections and explain benefits
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Commercial awareness, effective time management and self-organisational skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and able to adapt to change quickly
- The ability to meet deadlines and sales targets consistently
