Sales Account Manager
Salary: £19500 plus Company Car (OTE Year one £25,000 Year two £32,000)

Due to the expansion of our team we are looking for an outgoing driven sales person to join our team, if you want the opportunity to work for a market leader an d the opportunity for rapid progression then we want to hear from you.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

As the New Business Account Manager you are required to carry out the following key duties and accountabilities:

  • Consistently grow the revenue and achieve the targets as set out in the Freight Account Manager Scheme.
  • Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets as set out in the Freight Account Manager Scheme.
  • Maximise all revenue opportunities from existing customers by proactively pursuing undeveloped areas.
  • Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.
  • Generate new prospect leads for the Contact Management System using external sources.
  • Process consignments and enter telesales information on to the Contact Management System.
  • Monitor consignments ensuring that the highest levels of service are carried out at every stage.
  • Provide customers with accurate and cost effective quotations.
  • Ensure all relevant sales and purchase ledger invoices within the Trainee Freight Account Manager's remit are processed on time.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.

General Responsibilities
  • Working at all times to enable and develop a team culture.
  • Completing any reasonable task requested of you by your Branch Manager in a timely manner.
  • When deemed necessary, aiding in the completion of other departmental work to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the department as a whole to ensure customer service, internal or external, is continually maintained.
  • To understand and adhere to the health and safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues and your Branch.

Qualifications and Experience
