Pertemps are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Assistant for a highly regarded public sector client in West Lothian.
Due to the nature of this role you will be very busy and deal with a number of changing priorities therefore you must have excellent multi-tasking skills, as well as a strong ability to take responsibility for the running of the building.
You will be dealing with large volumes of the public. Therefore excellent communication skills are a must. A friendly and engaging personality will see the right candidate do well in this role. As well as dealing with large volumes of people, the building it's self is one of the most important public sector buildings in Scotland and thus requires the highest level of care.
The job itself will involve a mix of customer facing duties as well as a range of manual work such as the completion of health and safety assessments and the patrolling of the building insuring that area is safe, secure and up to standard. The right person for the job will not be afraid to get their hands dirty when appropriate and will support the wider team.
The hours of work are full-time (36hrs per week) and will involve various shift patterns of 8 hours, the earliest starting at 07:00 and latest ending 19:00. This is routinely Monday - Friday,
The candidate MUST hold a full driving license, be computer literate, have understanding of health and safety protocols in the work place and be physically fit in order to complete their range of manual tasks.
