To provide efficient and effective administrative support within the Staffing service, with primary focus on supporting the academic staff recruitment processes. Working as part of a small team ensuring that the procedures for the recruitment and management of staff are correctly implemented and providing assistance in the planning and organisation of academic recruitment programmes.
Effectively deal with staffing enquiries which may come into the Staffing Team and provide support to all managers in the line management of their members of staff including: induction, probation, training, annual review, promotion, contribution rewards, contract reviews, resignations, absence, maternity/paternity/share parental leave, compliance with UKVI policies, etc.
Provide training and oversee the day-to-day work of the Staffing Assistants
Provide support for the recruitment and selection of academic staff appointments and manage each recruitment process from advertisement to induction and plan
Plan and organise annual procedures and activities
