Job Details

Our client who is based within the Public Sector has a temporary role for a Part Time Administrator. This role is working in the Dumfries area, on a Monday to Friday basis. Hours of work will be 12pm to 3.30pm, but there could be some flexibility on the hours. The pay rate for this role is £8.76 per hour.

The successful candidate will be required to register at our city Centre Glasgow office.

Main Duties

o Arranging meetings.
o Preparation of the Agenda and associated papers.
o Taking of notes and typing up minutes of the meeting (in liaison with the Chair).
o Assisting and ensuring appropriate actions and reporting are undertaken.
o Monitor the progression of all proposals to ensure that all are completed and update course / programme listings.
o To support the co-ordination of the annual Graduation Ceremony
o Co-ordinate with Registry and Senate in relation to student enrolments, degree parchments and HEAR Transcripts and Honorary Graduands.
o Assist with putting in place local arrangements including venue, room and catering booking, invitations, programmes, academic attendance, press lists and on the day activities.
o Undertake any such other administrative duties which may occur from time to time as directed by the Head of School Administration.
