Sheridan Maine is recruiting on behalf of a growing business, based in Basingstoke, who is seeking an outgoing individual to join their Credit Control team on a temporary basis.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Maximising cash collection
- Minimising aged debt for the business
- Handling any customer queries in a timely manner
- Collecting outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
- Cash allocations
- Preparing weekly credit reports
- Negotiating, when necessary, payment terms with customers
The successful individual will be able to join the business immediately and will have previous experience with business to business collections as well as having exposure to Excel. A confident telephone manner is essential for this role.
