Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a large, international organisation based in Slough. My client is a leading IT business that has a presence across the globe and continues to provide an innovative and essential service within its niche market.Key deliverables for this pivotal role will include:
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing corporate month end journals
- Reviewing and identifying areas of risk or opportunity
- Managing the fixed assets
- Business Partnering for overhead areas of the business
- Assisting with statutory reporting
Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, FRS 102 and US GAAP is essential for this opportunity. Strong technical accounting skills are required.The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA part qualified or equivalent. It is paramount that you have previous exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and experience of revenue recognition. You will need to be a confident, motivated individual who is able to work independently and effectively within a team. Prior experience of Oracle and SAP would be advantageous.My client is easily accessible via public transport and has ample parking.
