Sheridan Maine is working with a highly successful and growing Group based near Southampton, who is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join this dynamic business and become a key member of the Senior Leadership team.
The Finance Director will report into the Group Financial Director and run a highly efficient Accounts Department. You will attend Board meetings to present financial information, work closely with the Group Finance Director and aid in the Tendering for new business and continuous improvements across the business.
You will provide leadership for the centralised accounts department of 15 staff and prepare the consolidated group accounts, including FRS102, annual audit arrangements and completion. With strong technical experience as you will also review the statutory accounts, and management account packs and be responsible for the budgets, forecasting and cash management for the group with key involvement in process and system improvement as well as business partnering with the buying, commercial and production teams to review current processes and suggest improvements.
As a Finance Director you will be a Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Accountant, with a proactive and motivated work ethic, you will be driven, ambitious, dynamic and technically strong. Ideally working in a SME business and looking for a step into a progressive and challenging Financial Director position within a growing and entrepreneurial business.
