Location: Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17
Wage: £8.00
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am-1:45pm
Reporting to: Team Manager
To work within a busy office, providing administrative support, checking and processing orders, liaising with customers, shipping companies and internal departments as necessary.
Key Activities:
" To check and process export shipping documentation.
" Processing Admin work relating to logistics
" To establish and maintain excellent communication with all existing and new customers.
" Dealing with client queries and orders via email, fax and phone.
" To ensure that all sales orders received are processed in line with the company procedure from receipt, checking account status, entering the order on the Sage 200 system and allocating correct stock as approved by New Business Development Manager, collating collection notes and raising sales invoices.
" Liaising internally with production to ensure customer order is in the production schedule and delivery details confirmed to customer.
" Liaising with shipping companies and hauliers to arrange the despatch and delivery of orders as per the customers required delivery date.
" Booking in of deliveries with customer warehouses where applicable.
" Full responsibility for successfully resolving any transit/delivery issues with the haulier and/or customer.
" To provide administrative support to the New Business Development Manager.
" To support colleagues in ensuring that all technical, marketing and general enquiries from current and potential customers are answered effectively, liaising with all other departments within the company as necessary.
" Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
" Answering the telephone in an efficient and professional manner
" Daily post & booking couriers
" General administrative duties and office procedures
" Ad hoc duties in relation to company projects

Skills:
" Export and Logistics knowledge
" Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
" Previous experience of using Sage 200 would be desirable
" Highly organised and able to multi-task
" Flexible and adaptable to change
" Able to resolve issues professionally and efficiently
" Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Experience:
" Previous administration experience within a similar role would be preferable
