A fantastic opportunity is available for a Contracts Administrator at a large utility company in Castle Donington, we are looking for employees to join our expanding team who show commitment and dedication to providing an excellent service to customers as well as being tenacious and methodical at all times.

Job purpose

To provide support to the Contracts Team throughout the contract management process, including change control and contract variations, preparing appropriate communication documentation, and inputting data into systems and data logs accordingly.

Experience Required

Experience of successful project delivery.
Awareness of: Construction contract environment, including awareness of NEC3 terms of conditions,
Contract management; Finance reporting, Programme & Change Management
Experience of working in a contractual or commercial environment.

Qualifications Required

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Technical/role specific competencies

Responsible for processing and progressing change requests from Contractors.
Producing, processing and progressing all necessary contractual instruction documentation, in accordance with the NEC and FIDIC conditions of contract requirements, to include, but not limited to; PMI, APMI, Compensation Event, Early Warning Notices, Risk Draw Down notices, Variation Orders, Liquidated Damages Claims and Additional Authorisations.
Provide support to the annual reconciliation audit process where required
Ensure all data logs and systems for contract management records are accurately maintained at all times
Processing and distribution of contractual communications both internally and externally.
Supporting the Contracts and Commercial team with mySAP Purchase Order requisitions.
Provide other administrative support to the Contracts and Commercial team

Key Tasks

Process and progress change requests from Contractors and National Grid.
Produce, process and progress all necessary contractual instruction documentation, to include, but not limited to; PMI, APMI, Compensation Event, Early Warning Notices, and Risk Draw Down notices.
Support the annual reconciliation audit process where required
Ensure all data logs and systems for contract management records are accurately maintained at all times
Support the Contracts and Commercial team with mySAP Purchase Order requisitions.
Provide other administrative support to the Contracts and Commercial team.

It is a mandatory requirement to undergo a basic Scotland Disclosure check to be considered for work assignments.
