Desirable - working knowledge of the following areas; Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Case Management, Contracts, Hierarchy Management, Governance & Delegations, Recruitment, Leavers, Performance, Sickness Absence Management and Annual Leave

Resolve enquiries from internal customers, providing a written, face to face or telephone response in a timely manner that contributes towards first contact resolution and avoids unnecessary hand off within the organisation
Route calls to correct resolver groups
Maintain Knowledge Library and FAQ's to increase first call resolution
Identify and escalate priority issues
Follow up customer calls where necessary
Enter customer queries into workflow management system
Compile and provide routine and ad-hoc information
Manage incoming and outgoing post
Assist in the administration of HR Services activities by carrying out routine clerical duties in line with standard operating procedures in an efficient and effective manner
Participate in the measurement of individual and team objectives, to enable performance gaps to be identified
Work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working
Actively demonstrate and promote the National Grids Values, and positively contribute to a customer oriented approach
