Pertemps are seeking a Logistic Co-ordinator for a well-established business in the process of expansion.
You will be responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of goods from their busy warehouse and provide extensive support to both the admin and engineering teams.
Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
" Receipt of goods from suppliers
" Unpack and check goods received against both despatch notes and purchase orders
" Report to any suppliers with discrepancies
" Booking in items returned to the warehouse by the engineering team
" Stock control and procurement of consumable items
" Pick and assemble items required for projects
" Complete despatch documentation for carriers
" Check and despatch orders for the engineering team
" Housekeeping of the warehouse to ensure it is safe and tidy at all times
" Ensure security of warehouse stock at all times
" Make deliveries and collections of goods from customers sites as and when required (Van)
" Fleet management, including the booking of services, MOT and repairs to the fleet of company vehicles
" Update the company database with stock amendments
" Assist the service team with returns and despatches
" Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the office manager

You must be self-motivated and be able to work under your own initiative. Full product training will be given however you must have a good understanding of the logistics of a warehouse environment with proven experience.
You must be able to carry out manual handling activities, have good communication and interpersonal skills, have good numerous and literacy skills and be computer literate in MS office applications.
You must hold a valid DVLA issued driving licence with no more than six penalty points for insurance purposes.

Working hours are 08:30am-16:30pm Monday to Friday Excluding Bank Holidays.
