A Training Manager (Quality Standards) wanted for a leading membership organisation and regulatory body (within the medical/health field) in the heart of London's City. This is a full-time permanent role paying £36,603 to £39,680 per annum + excellent benefits!

Core duties required of the Training Manager (Quality Standards):

- Be the primary liaison point on training issues with their educational partners (i.e. Local Education & Training Boards) to manage the processing of certifications and enquiries from Educational Supervisors, Programme Directors and other relevant stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate consultation, revision and publication of policy changes and guidance regarding Medical Education and Training in liaison with the Head of Operations
- To liaise with the Curricula & Quality Manager on any changes to the curricula or quality processes that impact on training
- Manage and administer various committees and events relating to training to improving quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with changes in medical education and specialty training
- Represent the organisation at external meetings and attend committee meetings
- Manage the work of the Training Coordinator including undertaking annual appraisals

The Training Manager (Quality Standards) will most likely have:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience in providing high quality customer service
- Proven experience managing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Experience of working in a similar environment e.g. Higher Education sector or professional medical body
- Proven experience of managing committees
- Ability to line manage and motivate staff (setting objectives, undertaking performance reviews and appraisals)
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems
- Experience and understanding of training, assessment and workforce within medical education (desirable)
