SME Commercial Account Handler
Location: Newcastle (region)
Our longstanding client is a growing regional Insurance brokerage with an excellent reputation within the local and wider markets and are looking to add to their existing team with the addition of a Commercial Account Handler.

Day to Day:
Managing a varied portfolio of SME risks – Commercial Combined, Liability, Motor Fleet, Property up to £5,000 premium
Liaising with Underwriters to negotiate premiums, uplifts in cover
Dealing with client enquiries and mid term alterations
preparing and distributing renewal packs to clients in a timely manner
ensuring all internal and external rules are followed accordingly
Assist senior colleagues with preparation of reports, presentations and renewal packs for larger cases as required
You will have dealt with all classes of commercial Insurance with exposure to Motor Fleet and Commercial Property as a minimum.
Exposure to dealing with day to day policy alterations, renewals, preparation of new business presentations to insurers.
Experience of working on claims in a delegated authority environment is ideal but direct insurer experience will be considered.
2-3 years within a Commercial Insurance environment
The basic salary is negotiable as they are after the right person and has a well developed benefits package to go with it.
