Commercial Account Executive (Existing Book)
Location: Newcastle (Region)
Salary: £Highly Negotiable + Car + Bonus
Our longstanding client are looking to add to their Commercial team within the Newcastle region.
The team has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and now requires an additional Account Executive to look after an existing portfolio of clients
The Book itself is a varied one with clients from SME up to Mid Corporate level.
The business does also have a dedicated New business producer so clients will be handed off to you to manage over the long term once they are on-boarded.
Manage the existing book of clients and develop these further via recommendation and exceptional service
Attend client and insurer meetings as required to ensure business is both won in year one and retained in year two.
Establish solid working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Liaise extensively with other departments internally to maximise wider client coverage.
Add to the existing client base via limited new business and referrals
Prior experience within the Commercial Insurance market (5+ Years).
Exposure to dealing with clients with a varied premium spend and the accompanying programmes.
Exposure to all standard classes of Commercial Insurance
Experience of presenting at board level
A well-developed skill set that includes good communication, negotiation and client management skills.
Proven ability to develop relationships and win business within a client environment.
Progression towards professional qualifications is also desirable.
