A Local Authority are looking for an Operational Manager to work within Solihull Catering Services.
.To be responsible for the operational activity ensuring that excellent service standards are continuously delivered.
.To ensure Area Managers manage and monitor catering budgets, ensuring that resources are effectively and efficiently utilised and controlled.
.To be responsible for managing budgets and other resources to ensure that the bottom line financial plan is achieved.
.To manage and control the catering units to deliver a high level of service.
.Communicate with Head Teachers to improve the service, increasing meal uptake where possible.
.Contribute to menu development, ensuring that menus conform to nutritional legislation.
.To ensure all catering units are hygienically maintained.
.Liaise, regionally and nationally with associated bodies.
You must be able to demonstrate hospitality operations management experience. Multi site experience would be desirable.
37 hours per week Mon - Thurs 9.00-17.30 (60minutes lunch) Fri 9.00-16.30 (30minutes lunch)
Based in Shirley, Solihull with an immediate start
