They recognise that investments in both employee development and working environment drive them forward as a modern, innovative and ultimately industry leading operation Financial & Performance Analyst - Role Objective Reporting to a Capital Delivery Business Partner, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the capital spend and delivery outcomes. You will also deliver insight and help drive improvement in Capital Delivery budgeting and enable improved programme performance. This will include providing robust, insightful and balanced views across regulatory, performance and financial objectives. As a motivated and engaging individual, you will ensure a high quality monthly reporting rhythm and challenge existing practices to identify improvements in both the short and longer term. Apply and improve the Capital Programme Governance processes to ensure delivery of targets, budget compliance and gap analysis through identification of risks to delivery. Identify key Management Information (MI) and prepare and present capital reporting to Leadership teams and approval bodies on a monthly basis. Responsible for setting and communicating capital outputs, performance against regulatory, financial and efficiency targets to key stakeholders to provide a holistic view over programme delivery. Financial & Performance Analyst - Key Accountabilities: - Facilitate the production of robust forecasts for CAPEX and IRE - Provide analysis and insight on monthly, annual and AMP performance against targets on outputs and finances and drive action within delivery areas where activity is off track. - Identify key risks and opportunities to annual and AMP performance commitments and work with delivery teams to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. - Preparation and presentation of Capital Delivery reporting to the strategic leadership team, ICG and other approval bodies. - Responsible for continuous improvement of all capital performance and regulatory reporting to drive business delivery of strategic objectives - Robust challenge of departmental forecasts to ensure credibility and deliverability, challenge of existing practices and identification of opportunities to improve performance and drive efficiencies. - Interface and build business partnering relationships with key stakeholders such as Strategy, Asset Creation and Finance teams to develop a long-term capital plan. - Development and communication of capital programme targets (e.g. IRE, bucket) - Responsible performance reporting to ensure a full and robust commentary, with supporting analysis as related to the Wholesale Capital Programme Financial & Performance Analyst - Experience In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have: Essential: - Experience of understanding performance and driving improvements. - Ability to understand linkages between complex data sets, focusing on priorities to deliver company objectives - Ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver a successful outcome. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adjust the message accordingly to fit the audience. - Strong MS Office, SAP ECC & BI capabilities. - Leadership and ability to influence at all levels - Commercial / Financial awareness Financial & Performance Analyst - Capabilities In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have: Essential: - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex information and communicate it in appropriate formats to all levels of management. - Ability to understand and communicate the broad financial, performance and regulatory - framework - The ability to adopt different influencing styles based on the situation and the ability to influence across all levels. - A strong team ethos of working together and sharing best practice. - The ability to develop strong relationships within the business and be seen as credible to advise and constructively challenge. - The ability to organise own work including prioritising and managing high volume workloads, conflicting demands and meeting deadlines. - Effective presentation skills - Track record of highly effective stakeholder engagement Qualifications - Full UK driving licence - GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above or - Demonstrate previous roles have covered suitable breadth to demonstrate numerical and verbal competencies. - Financial/Accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA / ACCA) Additional Information: Location: Coventry Contract: 3 months Day rate: £350 - £400 If this sounds like something for you then please Apply!!
