Internal Communications Specialist - Fareham 6 Month Contract, £155 per day, SC Clearance Required We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to support the creation and implementation of employee communication and engagement strategies, plans and solutions to ensure the successful delivery of our clients' transformation. You will provide in-house consultancy and training to coach and advise key communicators across the business, helping to inform and influence their decision making and enhance their communication capabilities. Day to day this will involve; - Working proactively to ensure messages are consistently delivered in line with the overall business, transformation and employee communication strategies. - Creatively applying problem solving techniques to ensure the on-going and effective development and deployment of a suite of cross-company channels of communication, which meet the needs of the organisation. - Promote accurate and open dialogue by anticipating issues, identifying rumours that may need addressing and developing appropriate solutions and responses. - Work closely with other members of the communications team and, where appropriate, with other areas of the business to ensure that messages and activities are aligned and opportunities shared. - Ensure the company brand is implemented correctly and consistently across employee communications channels and materials. - Lead and communicate cross-discipline campaigns on behalf of the Communications team, where required. Skills and Experience: - Significant employee communications experience gained within a Corporate Employee Communications Department. - Excellent communication, writing and editorial skills. - Good mix of honed diplomacy and hard-nosed business sense reaching beyond communications. - Ability to tailor solutions to meet non-standard business issues. - Superb influencing skills with the ability to overcome resistance and a highly personable character - Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level - A self-starter with energy and organisational skills to develop and manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and changing agendas - Good networking skills, establishing key contacts around the organisation, valuing them and using them effectively - Coaching experience, an advantage. Relevant qualifications including any of the following; - Degree/Diploma in a related subject (Marketing, Computing, Psychology/Sociology) advantageous but not required. - Studied to A Level standard. - GCSEs (or equivalent) to Grade C or above to include English Language.
