A national children's hospice based in Woodford Green is looking for their next Head of Marketing & Individual Giving in order to manage and develop all aspects of the organisation's marketing and communications to improve its positioning, profile, presence and reach with internal and external audiences.
The duties of the role will involve developing a marketing and communications strategy, developing and evaluating annually a multi-channel marketing plan to incorporate all aspects of the business to market the organisation to a wide range of stakeholders, developing a range of Key Performance Indicators for marketing activity and report progress against these monthly and developing a suite of communications materials to be utilised by staff and volunteers (including key facts and statistics); and encourage a culture of sharing and exchanging knowledge, information and views.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A proven track record in marketing and communications
Demonstrable experience in planning and project management
Experience of planning and executing direct marketing appeals
An understanding of the use of social media to engage new audiences and provide excellent customer service
Experience of managing, coaching and developing others (staff and volunteers)
